Shopify Inc. And Google Inc. Strengthen Their Position Against BlackBerry



Shopify Inc. and the giant tech organization, Google Inc., is looking forward to make their position strong in BlackBerry’s hometown.

Toronto-based multinational tech organization, Google, followed the same strategy like Shopify Inc. in order to make their position strong in an area, which is hometown of smartphone company BlackBerry in Waterloo even the mobile company decreased its number of teams regulating the market. The dearest fellow in the tech field ‘Shopify’, which is new in the technology market Canada, joined the tech market this year and worth at $2.75 billion. It is expected that the organization will soon disclose a significant growth in the entire region with respect to the sources aware of the matter. The sources, who asked not to be revealed due to the strategies, have not been disclosed for the time being, as the e-commerce coordinator has just rented out space in Waterloo that would help it to empower its existence from around 20 people to probably a few hundred in the region. A representative from Shopify slumped to comment over the strategy. The company that has approximately 800 workers spread around to cover its hometown in Ottawa as well as its satellite agencies in Toronto. The linking cities of Kitchener Waterloo and Montreal witnessed its shares going through the ceiling by 23% on Thursday just after announcement of its collaboration with the Amazon.com. The e-commerce organization, “Shopify”, named so because it’s selected partner influencing the organization regarding the smaller dealers to collaborate if they want to market their products via Amazon.com and need to accommodate backlog and payment criteria with the e-commerce website. Sources acknowledge that new space in the Waterloo city will be chiefly used for the enlargement of sales team and Shopify Plus developer. The company’s superior product targeted at larger merchants is Shopify Plus. The step comes after the Larry Page organization, Google, stood to move into a new 185,000 square foot space in Kitchener this fall. The office area is three times larger than its current working place that will provide the feasibility to the search engine firm to expand vastly its 300 workers labor in the region. Moreover, one representative for Google Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOG) stated that the organization has not put forward any kind of development targets and the new place is being refined in a phase manner. On the other hand, another spokeswoman typed in an email for BlackBerry, “Our intention is to reallocate resources in ways that will best enable us to capitalize on growth opportunities while driving toward sustainable profitability across all facets of our business.”
