The company has collaborated with various big names to bring them a step closer to their target thus joining hands with Tata will help them make their niche in the Indian market.
The company at this point of time is not really targeting consumers but with this venture, BlackBerry services wishes to provide security solutions for high-end and extremely sensitive communications such as government and other institutions.
According to the chief executive officer of Tata Power SED, Mr. Rahul Chaudhry mentioned in his statement, “"In the era of increasing incidents of espionage in State establishments and corporates with cyber security breaches and data theft, the envisaged association with BlackBerry will increase opportunities to accelerate innovation for high-end secure communication solutions.”
The Secusmart division of BlackBerry is based in Germany that implements and develops various solutions that assist private businesses and public authorities from preventing eavesdropping electronically.
This collaboration will turn out to be a game changer for both the companies. Tata Power SED has a lot of expertise when it comes to software, hardware design, software, as well as manufacturing. On the other hand, Secusmart also has expertise in security and software that will ensure that the client has secure and highly capable solutions that are designed in a manner to meet the evolving and stringent needs of the governmental institutions.
The chief executive officer of Secusmart, Dr. Hans Christoph Quelle stated, "I am proud of our continued success in delivering world-class security solutions, and am delighted that our cooperation with Tata Power SED will play such a crucial role in securing mobile communications for the Indian market.”
As it has been reported, the governmental institutes are already looking for a system that has been designed in a manner that ensures the safety of highly sensitive information. BlackBerry has taken a great decision to expand its market and collaborate with Tata who does not only have expertise in software, hardware etc. but also is a top notch company.
